Dividonic FAQ: straight answers to common questions

These are the questions people ask Dividonic most often, answered in a few sentences each. Dividonic explains the managed portfolio from the provider and arranges a call back if you want one. We don't hold money or give advice. For the full detail, follow the links in each answer.

Questions about Dividonic

What is Dividonic?

Dividonic is an introducer website. We explain how the managed portfolio works and, if you ask, pass your contact details to the provider so they can call you. We never hold your money or open accounts.

Is Dividonic free to use?

Yes. You don't pay us anything. The provider pays us a flat fee for each introduction, and that doesn't change the fees you pay. See how we make money.

Does Dividonic give financial advice?

No. Our pages explain how the product works, but they don't tell you what to do with your money. The provider checks whether the product suits you before you can invest, and an independent financial adviser can look at your whole situation.

Who will call me after I fill in the form?

Someone from the provider, usually within one working day. They'll answer your questions and ask about your goals and finances. Nobody from Dividonic will call you.

Questions about the managed portfolio

What does the managed portfolio invest in?

It invests in a mix of funds, weighted according to the risk level you agree with the provider. The provider chooses the funds and rebalances them. The product page explains how the portfolio is built.

What are the fees?

The provider sets the fees and lists them in its published charges. Our fees page shows what an illustrative 0.75% annual fee adds up to on $10,000 over ten years. Dividonic charges nothing.

Can I lose money?

Yes. The value of your investments can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you put in. Fees are taken in bad years as well as good ones. Read the risk disclosure before you invest.

How do I take my money out?

You ask the provider through your account. You'll get the value of your investments on the day they're sold, which may be less than you invested. The provider's terms set out how long a withdrawal takes and any charges.

Checking the provider and avoiding scams

Is Dividonic legit?

Dividonic is an introducer website, not an investment firm. The product comes from the provider, which pays us for each introduction. We never hold your money. Our trust page explains how to check the provider yourself.

What happens if the provider goes bust?

That depends on the provider, not on us, because we never hold your money. Ask the provider how it keeps clients' investments separate from its own money and whether any compensation scheme applies. No such scheme covers ordinary market falls. The trust page lists the questions to ask.

Someone called claiming to be from Dividonic. What should I do?

End the call. We never call people, and nobody genuine will ask for your password, PIN or remote access to your device. Email hello@dividonic.com with what happened, and contact your bank at once if you've paid anything.

Your data

What do you do with my details?

We store your name, email and phone number and, only if you tick the consent box, send them to the provider. We don't sell them or share them with anyone else. The privacy policy has the full detail.

How do I withdraw my consent?

Email privacy@dividonic.com and we'll stop processing your details. Because the provider keeps its own copy once we've passed it on, tell them too. You can withdraw at any time, and it won't cost you anything.

How long do you keep my details?

We keep call back requests for 24 months and consent records for 72 months, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner. Our security page explains how we look after them in the meantime.
